Our clients, Amalgam Models, have been busy working on a 'Mega Morph' that will advertise an exhibition of all things Morph in aid of Bristol Children's Hospital. The 3m high Morph was finally unveiled this month and Amalgam seized the opportunity of Morph's Bristol tour for a bit of social media coverage.
A video that draws together The Grand Appeal Charity, Aardman Animations and Amalgam teams as they manoeuvre Mega Morph into his iconic location gazing out over Bristol Suspension Bridge. With this video asset Amalgam can promote their stunning modelling work and their support of such a worthy cause.
How We Did It
With just 12 hours notice of moving day we despatched our crew early in the morning to set up on the bridge. When the van arrived we were ready to film the transport team at work. One of the Amalgam team in suitably branded T-shirt gave us that all important client shot. With a fast turn around on the edit, combining feedback from both The Grand Appeal and Amalgam, we got the video up on social.
It now promotes the great work of both Amalgam and The Grand Appeal across all their social media channels. You can visit the exhibition at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway from July 14th until September 5th and celebrate all things Morph, as the beloved character marks 40 years since his creation by animation legends Peter Lord and David Sproxton.
Thanks for the video - and the quick response to our request.
